Loadsalove: Home from bali.

and Bali is gorgeous, not as expected. :)

So on Thursday/ 17 December 2009,
woke up in the morning and got ready, watched some videos, packed more stuffs into the luggage and waited for papa to fetch us to eat at toa payoh before going to the airport.

We like the beef noodle there haha, and saw Mr Quek. ^_^ But didn't say hi cos shy mah. LOL. Anyway then headed for the airport. Still had spare time so went to walk around Terminal 3.

Then we took sky train to T2 and met Xiaojiu/Suigim/Valene and Edmund. Checked in and boarded the flight.

Haiying and I sat away alone from the rest of the people as the seats were fixed. But its okay, we enjoyed sitting alone hahaha,
peace from the rest of the children who are so noisy gosh. Can hear them though we were a few rows behind them. It was a safe journey to Bali and I watched Coco before Chanel/Bandslam.

Reached Bali and checked into the hotel, was extreme tired but we went exploring around our hotel and headed into a shopping mall to eat some stuffs.

On 18 December 2009/Friday,

had a nice breakfast at the hotel before heading out for a cultural enrichment day. Haha, watched a cultural dance about bali's legends and stuffs. Tried to stay awake but I didn't really appreciate it. ;x, thus, halfway through wasn't paying attention alr.

Headed for the volcano of bali and ate there. Its kinda funny cos' I thought when they said we were visiting the volcano that we were gonna go hiking or climbing or something. In the end, when I woke up from the van nap, we were halfway driving up another hill I guess, that could let us see the volcano at a closer view.

I enjoyed that part! :) Coldest part of Bali I guess? Haha, cooling breeze that felt great. And the food at the restaurant were not bad, but there were alot of flies and birds flying in the restaurant!!! Haha, in Singapore that restaurant get E already.

Then went to this cofee making place to try their stuffs and so on. Can't really remember much. ;x Went shopping though. ^_^ at the local shops. First time seeing bali stuffs and we all thought that those stuffs can only be bought at that area so crazily shopped lol.

Who knew, the whole bali sold the exact same stuffs. -.-

And also for the first time of our lives, the adults brought us to the hotel's pub. Haha, non-alcoholic drinks anyway. Its the free welcome drinks that we are all entitled to and its kinda nice. ^_^

Waterbom Bali we only went there the next day so lets ignore it first.

Did I mention we ate at a restaurant that was by a beach on friday night? :)
It was gorgeous because we sat there from evening to night in the sand where the waves crashed and such. First time experiencing and it was great, awesome time.

I liked the steam/grilled fishes the most. Hehe and had fun playing catching/and this turning game with the kids where Edmund almost puked hahaha.

Then we kept playing until everyone fell onto the sand and resulted in a bunch of sandy kids. Went back to the hotel and bathed before heading for the pub.

This was the temple we went to after the volcano trip and it was enriching. The water below is said to be holy and people bathed in it and queued up to rinse themselves with the water that was rushing out from the small holes.

The next day, we went to waterbom bali. Bought sarongs with haiying and charmaine the previous night at the hotel and I was the only one who wore them along with flower clip. Yay I like the flower clip cos I think its really pretty hahahaha,

walked to waterbom and had alot of fun playing. No photos because had too much fun LOL. Then we went shopping and ate lunch at Hard Rock Cafe. Extreme tired. I think we ate our dinner at a chinese restaurant of the hotel.

Anyway, did I mention that the tap water or any water of Bali is kinda salty? I guess its because their purification system is not as good/effective as Singapore. When we drank chinese tea at the restaurant, the salty taste mask over the tea taste completely. ):

At night went out with Haili to buy drinks while the adults dumped all the kids to us four to look after because they went for a massage! We bought drinks and as usual, I got sidetracked by the local shops and we went for a short shopping trip instead hahaha! This hat was bought for Haien but I just took and wore them hahaha,

So did Edmund!

K, and the next day was our last day at Bali. Ate breakfast once again with my favourite omelette. Ps. I ate at least 5 omelettes in three breakfasts. ^_^

Hahaha, then uh, went to the beach. :) there was no banana boat offered there hmph. ): The adults did another massage!!! And Ahma so cute, did pedicure. LOL. I chose shimmery gold nail polish for her with flowers. AHAHA, but I didn't like the flowers they offered so I didn't do it.

then since we were bored, we explored the beach and climbed on rocks. Kinda dangerous as we each had to hold on a small kid and camera. It got hectic on the rocks when Valene said she saw a crab and suddenly the kids were panicking. HAHA.

Everything went on fine and we took pretty photos too yay. Sevensome rocks. :)

I remember they built a mini volcano with sand too while waiting haha,

oh and we learnt surfing! :D
Gosh its damn fun and I didn't want to stop learning. LOL. Even though we were all injured by the sharp small rocks on the beach which weren't sand!!! After an hour managed to stand on the surfboard when the waves come yay, :)

Hahaha it was such a good experience and good sport. The instructors were damn nice too. Lol. While teaching and helping us they caught like four crabs on a coconut shell and a fish. -.-

Hotel to bath and went out to shop again.
Rushed back to hotel and went to aeroplane when we were met with a turbulence and Haiying and Haili got headaches while I kinda enjoyed it because the going up and down made my stomach go woo again and again hahaha.

Reached home late at night and slept till 1pm the next day.
